eGGY – PHOeNIX CeNTRaL PaRK

A band whose output is defined by a keen sense for change and continuum, EGGY are an avant-pop-rock band who keep their feet firmly planted in the DIY.

Eggy
EGGY is a band from Melbourne / Naarm. EGGY are: Charlie Wolstenholme, Dom Moore, Lucy Packham, Sam Lyons, and Zoe Monk.
Taking notes from John Cale, Stereolab, and The BBC Radiophonic Workshop, the EGGY sound and live show is an evolving shift of creative energy that bends to shape its environment. Enveloping halls and ballrooms with cello and overdriven violin, or in clubs and bandrooms with saxophone and blown out riffs. The thread between static intensity and agile restraint taut from start to finish.
They’ve shared stages at home and abroad with Kurt Vile, Tropical Fuck Storm, The Beths, Shanon & The Clams and MJ Lenderman and their sophomore album ‘With Gusto’ was listed in Henry Rollins top 11 albums of the year.
